For the last few years, I have spent the day before Easter
face painting at a church or other venue event, which is held because of
Easter. It is not my favorite type of
event for face painting. Lines are long
and designs are rushed. I am usually
very tired after too. Soooo, this year,
I did not make any efforts to get myself booked. It was my wedding anniversary weekend too, so
I was hesitant to work during it. As it
happened, I ended up not getting booked (I did get a quote request, but being
more than one hour away, requested late, and on a holiday weekend, I quoted
accordingly and did not hear back).
It all worked out because we had our nephews and niece spend
Friday night with us (we celebrated our anniversary on Thursday) and we spend
Saturday playing games with them.
On Sunday, I felt like painting, so I took the time to
finish a canvas painting of a peacock.
It looks better in person, but this video will do for here.
